Rehamed Handicap Lifts go Wireless!
Rehamed Handicap Lifts go Wireless!
RehaMed, the manufacturer of the popular Splash and Pal Handicap lifts, proudly announces a new upgrade to their leading-edge lifts. Effective immediately, you can now operate your pool lift using a completely wireless and waterproof remote control system.
This system is designed to work with any lift sold since the late 1990’s. The conversion is quick, easy, and very affordable.
The wireless system uses a different control box than the standard wired model. However, the control boxes are the same size and are completely interchangeable. The standard wired control box and the new wireless control box look identical with the exception of the the wireless logo on the cover. The existing wired handset can be used with both control boxes.
The wireless handset, also called a Fob, is completely waterproof. It is shipped with an expandable wrist lanyard. The fob is battery powered, using a readily available 3v CR2032 battery. Additional fobs are available from CES at a nominal charge.
Advantages: The wireless system provides a number of advantages over the traditional wired handset. In a busy location, such as a community pool, hotel, or cruise ship, Fobs could be issued only to people who will actually use the lift, preventing unnecessary use and potential damage.
Using the lanyard, the wireless fob insures that the user always has control of the lift,
preventing the circumstance when another user leaves the wired handset where it cannot be accessed, or leaves a user stranded in the pool.
Simple to Operate: The attractive fob features one button for each of the four functions of the lift: up, down, left, and right, and also a lock button to turn the sleep mode on or off.
Simple to convert: Although the wireless system can be ordered with any new lift system, it can be retrofitted onto any existing lift. CES will provide the complete conversion and will provide on-site support and warranty administration.
The wireless system includes the wireless control box and one Fob with lanyard. The part numbers are as followed:
